  • Xanga quizes

Now I’m young and I’m single

But I hate quizzes that state

What I like to eat at night

And whether I stay up late

    Some say I am smart

And many think me a cur

    But I am a bachelor

    And that is for sure

    It’s nobodies’ business

    Unless you’re my girl

But then I wouldn’t be single

    That changes the world

    So here’s to long quizzes

    That I refuse to take

    Yet I read this one

    That might be a mistake

  • I saw gay marriage passed in New York which is only the third state to actually vote on it and not back door it through judicial activism. That is truly sad. As the Catholic Bishop of New York said  the law alters radically and forever humanity's historic understanding of marriage.

Sen. Ruben Diaz, was given only a few minutes to state his case during the Senate debate. "God, not Albany, settled the issue of marriage a long time ago," said Diaz, a Bronx minister. "I'm sorry you are trying to take away my right to speak," he said. "Why are you ashamed of what I have to say?"

  • Demon god: Perception

Now you’ve heard of his brother coliseum

Nowhear of this imp sent to deceive em

    He’sa gargoil, a dragon, a little pest,

Apainter of dreams, creature of the west

His realities are strokes of genius

Ondrugs of senses he feeds the dust

    Falsehumility, and ardently passioned

Suckinglife out of those who attract him

Hisseat is high among the low

    Heis worshiped by many below

    Onthe outside Jewels displayed

    Yethis first love he betrayed

    Heentertains with music’s lyric

Butwhat he wants is eternal spirits

    Withintellectual and vain deceit

Hebrings to power the awaited beast

    Midnight tears

Isit in a chasm that is self made

Itis made by choices- my own mistakes

Nobodyto blame -No one to help

Thisis the state of one compelled

    Saltfilled streaming rains

    Tossing, turning- and lying awake

    Theminutes like clouds undefined

    Hourspushtroubles deep inside

    Herein darkness demons rejoice

Stillthey can’t touch beyond the choice

Forthey are allowed only on chains

WhileI can move-I am not betrayed

  • There is still time

    Out in thewind

    The shriekof the cliff

    The darkswirling waters

    The skiesopen rift

    She screams

     There is still time

    The waveslash out

    The laughterit peaks

    The watercalls up

    Theunderworld speaks

    But shescreams

    There isstill time

    There isstill time

    There isstill hope

    The watersmay rise

    The vaporsmay choke

    But in spiteof the pressure

    There is onegift

    There isstill time

  • Be a light
    They're bitter, They're angry

    But most of all lost

    Pulling and clawing

    You can see the cost

So mirror of light - not fake or afraid

    This is the purpose

    For which we were made

    I see in his laughter

    The pain in her eyes

    I see in tattoos

    Souls bitterly cry

I see in art, in music and word

    That this generation

    It is terribly hurt

    They hate what they love

    Prisoners of state

    The darkness consumes

    From nature innate

So look to the light- oh vessel of clay

    Submit to the potter

    And shatter their chains

    This weekend

Work during the week often tires me out so I catch up on Rush Limbaugh at 24/7 on the weekend. Occasionally I will also watch some news or read article from AP online.  This weekend the things I noticed the most were his usual but still  true statements and facts such as

    1. Consensus does not make science- In reference to global warming

2.The failure of the historical recovery due to aggressive progressive policies

    3. The reference to two new books I need to read. One by Ann Coulter and one on the financial mess

  • Big black Bible

Got a message from the heartland

A gentle love tap-A groove of the right

    This Bible belt rap

    Old testament prophets

    Called down holy fire

    But we have a weapon

    That truly awe inspires

    Though Pharisees adore them

    And televangelist -that doesn’t negate

    The truth that is this

    The message of the Savior

    The only way to God

    Eternity and peace

    Fullfillment of the law

Big black Bible- calling out repent

    To turn from your derision

The Word of life was sent

    Keeping us in line

    When our eyes stray

    Seeing this companion

    Temptation flees away

  • Broken wings

    Little white sparrow

    With one broken wing

Why do you fly from me-

    In your suffering

    Frightened by terrors

    Don’t want to be touched

    But the cat is outside-

    Behind piles of brush

    I stand on the porch

    I leave you your choice

    I cry for your pain

    But restrain my voice

    Oh broken heart

    Innocent-unwinged

    Let me bandage your hurt

    And so set you free

  • More private enterprise under attack

An article in AP today about credit cards restricting what people can buy with them. Now while government isssues currency which should not be restricted or perphaps not even debit cards. The credit cards are private business and they should be able to not loan to people they  don't want to. This often includes gambling, pornography and so on. The usual whiners are complaining about the imposition of moral values...

  • Darkness broken power

The eyes were red and sinister

The voice was deep and base

    The power of the spectar

    The enchantment of the place

    The goddess of the inclement

    The prince of the storrm

    The principality of nations

    The beasts silver horn

    The castle of the count

    Pale against the sky

    The lightning inspiring awe

    The black birds wheeling cry

    But the power over thralls

    Was broken by the storm

    Power greater than death

    Was born in the Son

  • Filled

    The dust and rags

    The forgotten bags

    Deserted halls

    Crying empty

    The creaking floors

    Those unlocked doors

    The whisling wind

    Crying empty

    The front door creaks

    The rats they squeak

    The hearth it blazes

    No more empty

    The hammer and nail

    The silk and sail

    The brand new shine

    Not empty
