Glazed windows pass-
Or I pass them by.

I heard that this weekend Kim Kardashian wrote a tweet saying she was praying for Israel and got all kinds of grief. Never mind the fact that Israel is threatened by terrorist every day and are one of  our strongest allies. I guess the comment was not bipartisan enough, any way she then tried to take it down. It just goes to show that even within liberal society you are not safe if you go against the pervading spirit.

Dictionary Definition-the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint: He won his freedom after a retrial

To Christians it means God given ability to overcome our sinful nature, having personal responsibility in  pursuit of our dreams, succeeding and failing with little to no intereference from human or government intervention. To liberals it is the throwing off of moral restraint.

Angels of light

Looks like godless ideology and the cult of government continues its advance in this nation. What I have trouble with is how any true evangelical could vote for the democrats and their none traditional agenda. This is what we get it in an age of personalities where people may feel someone cares. This election also shows the power of the media.

For the first term Rush said he hoped Obama would fail. In the second we must see that his radical agenda does.  This is more of a spiritual battle than a political one in that the moral corruption of our sinful nature is exploited by government.

Indeed the type of leaders we have reflects our own lack of resolve in defending our God given liberties and the special call God placed on this as one of the greatest nations in earth’s history.

 Playing to your base

Apparently a bunch of Republicans stayed home. Whereas Obama recently went after his radical base. It would seem that the base isthe key not moderates. Moderates can be won by persuasion but dispiritedloyalists can not be replaced.

 

We did not lose because of any of the variousdivisions the democrates have successfully created in our culture. Many peopleof principle  could not support someonethey did not believe in. As a result of this the evil agenda of the very groupsthey oppose won.  The Republicans need tostop nominating moderates and put forth true conservatism.

 

To those who believe as scripture states that Godsets up and tears down rulers we need to remember that when a land is wickedGod will allow men with Godless agendas to come to power. This is not a part ofHis perfect will but His permissive mercy. May God protect the USA.

Side note

Conservatism has never replaced Christianity and is certainly not the same thing. One of the reasons this ideology appeals to me as a follower of Jesus is because Liberalism glorifies and worships the state. This is my fundamental gripe with pseudo charity of many government programs which some appeal to as helping the poor.

Anything is possible like the disastrous passege of Obamacare  and we must continue to do all we can for Tuesday’s election; it feels like Romney will win.Whether he does or not the new congress and President will haver a great battle to face. Against the policies of over reaching beuracrats and the culture of Washington.

Now is the time to pray for Constitutional and Christian Supreme court Justices who will see the law as intended. Now is the time to pray for bold men not to lose courage. True change in Washington requires repentant hearts and this goes against culture and against human nature.

 

I just saw Fireproof again and like most Christian movies some parts of it were a little over the top but it is an excellent showpiece of how God woos His followers. Paul even compares the mystery of Christ to marriage.

It is amazing how unfaithful we are and how good He is.

The hood and cloak

Since I made it clear in  a previous posts that neither canidate is probably saved I think it is worthwhile to consider why I would vote for a none Christian.

1. The first reason is very simple living in the world we work with nonebelievers every day and it would indeed be hypocritical for me to say I could not support a None believer in government. This of course does not mean that there are certain places where believers should be exclusive. Church membership should be only for those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord.

2. Many share the basic Chritian worldview. To not vote would be to vote for an even more anti God view.

3. It is the duty of a follower of Christ to be involved for the good of his nation. We have the great priviledge of voting.

 

Though I have already made up my mind because the current President and his party is antifamily, anti business, anti religious, anti constitution and pro death; I am intensly interested in the debated. I want to know how our country thinks and how to pray for both our current President and I hope our next President.
